We’re Jon and Judy Rick and we like to travel. In fact, our neighbors complain that we’re never home. And they’re right: we spend four months each year in Florida, two months plus in Maine, and usually take two trips of three to four weeks duration somewhere in the world each year. That leaves us “home” for less than six months. Plus, we have four nearby and very active grandkids who keep us busy with sporting events, sleepovers, and babysitting duties. We’ve been known to play a round or two of golf when there’s nothing  better to do and the weather is nice.

This blog is set up as a repository for the blogs that I, Jon, usually produce each night on our trips. I try to capture what went on that day, our impressions of the places we’ve seen and the people we’ve met, and whatever historical or cultural information we’ve gleaned from our experiences. I usually include a picture or two.
